SIRLEY KASTON RECIPE1: Bloody Greek Mary

Here is another participant to our Food Blogger Contest “A menu for the Mediterranean Diet” II edition: Sirley Kaston from Instanbul/TURKEY. In fact we had many food blogger from Turkey this year: thanks to our Turkish partner!

His Mediterranean Diet menu foresees 3 recipes:

 

SIRLEY KASTON RECIPE1: Bloody Greek Mary

INGREDIENTS:

15 gr shallot

150 gr small size cucumber

150 gr cherry tomatoes

10 gr hot green pepper

100 gr lemon

20 gr parsley

20 gr tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)

3 gr salt

2gr sugar

20 gr feta cheese

5 gr cream

 

PREPARATION:

Slice the onion; cure it with salt and sugar. Wait for 20 minutes.

Blend cucumber parsley, lemon juice, green pepper, 10 gr of EVOO and salt.

Peel the tomatoes and take out the seeds. Blend the tomatoes with 10 gr of olive oil in a blender.

Mix it feta cheese and cream until they are smooth.

Take a glass use the cheese cream as glass rim.

Fill half of the glass with cucumber juice , the other half with tomato juice.

Decorate the glass with a cherry tomato and parsley.
